Proposed Waiver of Infrastructure Charges

That Council resolves as follows: 1 To approve the request from St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland Housing to waive in full the Infrastructure Charges Notice dated 10 June 2026 for the social and affordable housing development at 18-20 New Street, Nerang. 2 To note that the waiver represents a Council contribution toward the delivery of critical social and affordable housing supply on the Gold Coast. 3 To note the significant public benefit of the project, including the delivery of 60 dwellings comprising 53 social housing dwellings and 7 affordable housing dwellings for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. 4 To authorise the Chief Executive Officer to take all necessary steps to give effect to this resolution.
